This is the absolute worst news I have heard in months...he was a great man, and a great writer, and its too bad he wasn't able to finish out his series.

His wife said she would continue his legacy at one point if he didn't make it, and I can only hope she does it justice.

Don't worry Anyways, I pretty much thought the same thing.  I still hope his wife continues for him, if not for his sake, so that my mind can be put to rest with some kind of conclusion.

This saddened me a lot. I though he had a few years left in him, enough to finish this one at least.
