DK, I'm really just trying to make that distinction. That's really it.
As well, I didn't say that everyone should have heard of Bright Eyes because of their appearance on the Billboard charts, and I'm re-reading my post to try and figure out where I might have implied it. I'm just saying that as independent acts go their visibility is fairly high. Maybe it's because I go to one of two universities in a province of one million people and a good chunk of people at my school have heard of Bright Eyes that I'm surprised?

Me and my best friend debate about this all of the time,
he thinks he has an "Amazing" music taste, because it is diverse. Which is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Especially since he listens to My Chemical Romance and cites Fall Out Boy as his favorite band, listening to one or 2 mainsteam and indie band once does not make your taste "Diverse". But its also wrong for me to say that his music taste is bad because of that fact, because its impossible for taste to be "Wrong"

I know I am a little late on this, but my god this made me laugh harder than anything I've seen in a long time. I'm trying to work out if it would be as funny if I took out the size tags and sig'd it.

4) I have. Basically it just gets old to hear all the Fargo jokes when anyone finds out where I live.
