Penny Pincher gamers.
Caiphana:
I've never had trouble with used games. I look at the disk before I buy it.
I'm more interested in getting things cheap than giving money to the people who made the game.
I should mention that I'm talking N64 games and other systems they don't make games for anymore, for the most part. I couldn't buy them new even if I wanted to.
bryanthelion:
Either or, on used or budget.
Anyway, its Freedom Force not Freedom Fighters. Just to make sure we're on the same page.
Though, I heard excellent things about Freedom Fighters. So I guess we can throw that one in too!
Dimmukane:
Umm...Kingdom Under Fire was fun. Most of the games I own are usually $50 titles, though.
bryanthelion:
There are ALOT of great Nippon Ichi games that I enjoy alot.
Makai Kingdom, Phantom Brave, La Pucelle Tactics (havent played yet), Disgaea 2 (might not be 20 bucks yet).
All of the above are strat-rpgs that offer an assload of content for people that play it. They're all kind of the same though, with minor alterations. Phantom brave you use items such as trees and rocks as weapons, and you fuse them into one of these items for about 5 turns, then they revert back to nomalcy. Disgaea uses geo-squares that do something special (-20 armor, no entry, improved attacks, invincibility). Makai kingdom uses tanks and facililities.
These are some AMAZING rpgs that everyone should pick up.
Blue Kitty:
Jet Set Radio Future, I think I picked it up for my Xbox for 5 dollars.
Okage: Shadow King, I picked this up for my friend for about 5.
the local EB Games had a discount bin where every game in it was under 8
oh, and when I was in Best Buy I say a copy of Halo that was going for 9
