Either I had never seen a chinchilla before, or I'd blocked them from my memory. They look like the kind of animal that starts out all cute and fuzzy, but before you know it it's chewed holes in your favorite socks and pooped on your keyboard. But you can't hate them because they're soft and fuzzy and their fur is the equivalent of MSG.

I may be fostering a pair of sugar gliders in the near future, I'll post pictures when they arrive.
