I'm going to go ahead and say that it's not unfair to expect someone vaunted as the "one of the best musicians of her our generation" to be something of a virtuoso. We have other words we can use for her genuine talents, it's lazy to pour accolades on her that she...wait I've explained this already, just go back and read it again.

By this token is it fair to consider Joanna Newsom one of the best musicians of our generation?
