The best punk song

Other options will not be considered even one little bit.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

I predict a 100% favour to X-Ray Spex.

I DARE you to vote otherwise.

Emilio has basically fucked up this thread with mod abuse.

Marquee Moon is NOT an option.

I know where my allegiances lie.

Though the lack of "Search And Destroy" is appalling.

THERE SHOULD ONLY HAVE BEEN TWO OPTIONS.

IT WAS AN EXPERIMENT.

I PREDICTED YOU WOULD ALL CHOOSE X-RAY SPEX.

BECAUSE YOU'RE HIPPIES.

AARGH.

The problem with that is that Oh Bondage is easily the better song. So What has that instrumental bit that's totally superfluous to requirements. I would love it if someone would lock Seth Putnam in a room with So What playing in a loop until he realised nobody cares about his oh so controversial nonsense though.

It's not really punk unless Johnny Rotten is spitting in your face at a concert and being a dick about it, as usual.  :-P

I went for Anti Nowhere League, they are playing live in Manchester soon and I'm tempted to go see them just for this song.

Out of those, 'Marquee Moon.'

Prefer 'Six Pack' personally though.

it's obviously "Blank Generation" by Richard Hell for it's superior use of silence in the chorus.

Also I would like to point out that the combination of Sailor Moon and faux-Kerouac / Sonic Youth spelling is perhaps the purest distillation of what this forum is that we have yet been presented with.
