Dude, I didn't even actually get the pepperoni. I only said I would eat it.
And that wasn't nearly as delicious as the act would have been.

I came to this town meeting today to cast my vote, and I must say, I am appalled.
There is no possible way that I could have been the one who killed Ballard. He was a friend to me. Back when I was just a small child, he taught me how to tie my shoes. I wear shoes every day God damnit! And every day, I look down at my shoes, and I think of him. Now, when I look down at my shoes, all I will be able to think about is the terror reign of this mafia.
My shoes may now be covered in blood, but my hands are clean.

My god, the bond of shoetying is one that must never be broken. I say Not Guilty, we must not let the mob mentality (so to speak) destroy our reason and make us forget that Ballard taught a monkey to tie its shoes.
