I would totally do the QC game.  Gamertag's in the gamertag thread.  As for getting it fixed, I sent mine in (which didn't have RROD problems, it just froze a lot for no apparent reason).  It took them 3 days to send a box out to me, with shipping label, foam padding, instructions, packing tape, etc.  I then sent it to them with the 3-day shipping label they gave me.  They realized it was broken and gave me a free replacement about 2 weeks after calling them about it.

I'm up for QCTF2 team, as long as everyone accepts my utter newishness and is patient in the early-goings.

i'd get in on that. gamertag also in the appropriate thread.

I've gotten the red ring twice, both on the same one within the span of a year.

After the second time, I just bought a new one.
