Call of Duty 4
Melodic:
Same thing: Xbox Live servers got crammed full of holiday cheer. Which is why the PC version is superior. You Nazis.
Storm Rider:
Considering that PC gamers are the ones so preoccupied with 'purity', wouldn't they be the Nazis in this relationship?
Oh wait, I was assuming rationality in this debate. Nevermind.
Narr:
I don't get the idea that PC gamers are preoccupied with purity. For me, it comes down to the simple fact that the control scheme feels more natural because it's more precise on a general basis than the dual-analog style and extra content created by either the game developers themselves or the modding community. My machine isn't all that powerful; I'm aware that Orange Box runs a lot smoother on PS3/X360 but I'd still rather play it on my machine on minimal settings than have to suffer through Portal's challenge modes on a controller.
Melodic:
Storm, I readily own a 360, and use it extensively, but I just cannot brave console FPS video games without, I fear, suffering severe mental explosions. I'm sure you understand.
You Nazi.

Probably not the best example to use, as Valve did a bang-up job optimizing the controls for the 360. I do get what you mean though.
