I really wanted to see Maceo Parker at the corner last night but tickets were 79 and none of my friends are fans, I ended up at the venue round the time he started though and listened from outside for a few minutes. Sounded incredible.

LucyStag:

lol@yourface:
bands i've seen live:
Lost Prophets, Iron Maiden, Taking Back Sunday, Trivium, Anti-Flag, Alexisonfire, UnderOath, Saosin, My Chemical Romance, Funeral For A Friend, Kids In Glass Houses, Paramore, The Gallows, Senses Fail, Enter Shikari, and lots of small local bands.
The best was by far Iron Maiden, saw them back in december 06 the only bad point was they played the entire of A Matter Of Life And Death and only a few of their older songs.
The next best was Funeral saw them december 22nd 07 they were amazing, a good mix of all their albums and involving the crowd, keeping everyone entertained.

ZedAvatar:
I managed to catch Imogen Heap the last time she was in Chicago.  For a one-woman band, she puts on a heck of a show!
