I just saw the fucking Used last night in Hampton Beach, NH. They played with Straylight Run, Army of Me, Street Drum Corps, and some unoriginal opening band.

The show was AMAZING. The crowd was FAR from boring. The pits were awesome, although I lost my shoe in one and some huge chick landed on my leg, but that's okay.

My friend and I both crowd surfed to the front of the stage, where we met some pissed off guards, but it was well worth it. All of the bands were awesome, I grabbed the singer of Army of Me's arm, and I was so close to Bert Mckracken. Was badass.

I also went to Projekt Revolution in the Tweeter Center in Mass last summer. That was a great show, although I had to stay in a seat the whole time

The black parade tour with MCR and Rise Against was also an AWESOME show, but I'm sure many of you people will be trashing on me for liking MCR. Don't care.

Buuut, yeah, awesome shows. I plan on going to the Paramore and Jimmy Eat World concert on the 30th. I love Paramore and cannot wait :)

Man, that does not matter to me. I have liked them a lot for a long time and I want to see them live and they will be playing a few blocks away from my apartment and it's just not fair.

I wonder if I could sneak in the back or something...

You might as well just try to get in if it's that close. Maybe they won't even card and if they try to maybe you can talk your way in (you forgot ID and came from 5 hours away just to see the show or something). Worth a shot.

Just saw Explosions In the Sky at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Probably best concert ever, for me. I was on this platform and only about 20 feet from the stage so the only better spot was right at the stage. They only played for about an hour and a half but it was their second show for the day and still incredible.

On Castastrophe and the Cure, Munaf put down his guitar and kept doing that weird-awesome swaying he does grabbed some drum sticks for his drum part and totally beat the hell out of that tom. Then on the last song, I forget which one it was, he duct taped something to his guitar and then proceeded to destroy a tamboine by smashing it into the floor, after about 20 secs the little discs started to fly off. And the end he said, "I hurt my hand, but it was fun". I still don't think I've processed how good this concert was. I was also amazed that it all sounded nearly exactly the same as the albums.
