At the moment, I'm listening to a NZ band. They're called Fat Freddy's Drop, listen if you like chilled music reminiscent of the late Marley.

I'll give good metal bands some time.

Australia is the only country where (even local) knowledge of the music scene is exceedingly limited, lending itself to being viewed as 'narrow' or 'sparse'.
