Always properly tag your music

<< < (10/15) > >>

Johnny C:
Question about tagging, for anyone who knows EAC. I'm trying to rip a split to LAME format. How do I make sure that it's tagged properly? Should I just put "Artist A/Artist B" in the "Artist" field? Should I change the track names? Jeez!

Edible:
Mmm due too sharing music with people I know, I have too give it a rough genre, as a bit of consideration (some dont like metal etc.) so its usefull for that at least

Tom:
I had to go through and group Local Hero - by mostly Mark Knopfler and when you purchased the album it was credited to Mark Knopfler and put his name as the album artist in the sort field. so yeah that was a major peave.

devilcrayon:
I've been using the tagger from MuiscBrainz to tag all my stuff after ripping it.  They're got a pretty decent style guide and review process to keep thing consistent.

kivenkantaja:
This isn't really indie, or rock.. though Modest Mouse rules.

Um, try Hernan Battiato.  I picked up one of his discs in Germany a couple years ago, he was playing that crazy austrailian instrument that requires cycle breathing whos name I can never fucking remember.

Anyways.  It's sweet.  and weird.  Listen to it while baked.  I don't even get high and I think it'd be an interesting thing to do.
