I updated the QC drawing tutorial

Antsan:
Does anyone know, if there's a similar PlugIn to BPelt Multifill and Flatten in the GIMP? I think I never will draw anything in the computer anyway (fpr CG-Art I have Blender and Compositing-Nodes), would be just interesting to know.

Somebody should really buy me a tablet for Christmas so I can try this out.

Man, anyone, including people who hate drawing, should get a tablet just for the sake of its complete awesomeness. If you do buy one (or get one for christmas) you will be immensely happy forever.

That was my reasoning when I bought a tablet for my friend.  She's used it three times since June.  I should have just bought it for myself, because I'd use it weekly, or at the very least monthly.

Eh, tablets aren't for everybody. They've got a pretty steep learning curve.

Jeff, I'm really sorry for that insane bump, but I thought you may want to add an alternative for GIMP users. You see, when I first read that tutorial of yours, I was quite thrilled except for the fact that I don't have Photoshop. In case you feel like updating the tutorial again, you can link to this: Flatting tools (script for GIMP).
This little gem enabled me to get a nice subdivision of an image that didn't even have super-clean lines, enabling me to go from this to that (after a bit of playing with the levels so that the lines are black, of course).

Again, sorry if it's seen as a big useless bump. This tutorial is where I've been sent when I asked how I could colour some line-art nicely, and I thought you might appreciate for it to be useful to GIMP users as well.  :-)
