I'm really really into Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, Goldfinger, and Reel Big Fish. I'm kinda surprised how many people don't just dislike Ska, but hate it...I think its amazing.
And I apologize for starting a thread that has been done so much before, I guess I didn't realize it had?

it's ok to start a thousand threads about indie but the monthly ska thread is just too much man

I don't understand the animosity toward ska, I don't go into the indie music threads and go "GOD, could there be more of these indie threads on here? I hate indie music, it sucks!" This is because I like most musics and bands (not too big on the country though), but regardless, its just music that people like. Also, it'd be real nice if there was reason for the hate. "Ska made me hate horn music because all I heard was crappy ska" I've gotten far too much "ska sucks, this music is better" in my time. Far too much.
