The obvious example would be DFA 1979, they of the ironic moustaches.

Lightning Bolt are the first thing to spring to mind. I'm sure I listen to a few bands with this set-up but my mind's a blank for some reason. Oh, if you don't mind more than one bassist (but still no guitars or other instruments) then I really highly recommend Palehorse and The Flamingo Massacres. Palehorse are unforgivably heavy and The Flamingo Massacres are surprisingly melodic for a band with that set-up.

Drums and Tuba.

Except um.  They have a tuba player.  But really, they're amazing.

What's the topic called?  I searched "Om" and came up with nothing.  I love this band and I'd like to hear what you have to say about them.

It was the thread about crying. It made me incredibly sad about not being able to get in to see them at All Tomorrow's Parties.

It's the thread where everybody started talking about crying instead of talking about how awsome Om are live or how they wish they'd live in Jerusalem.
