Honestly, the stubble is the only thing that keeps that in the "People think that looks good now?" category and out of the "I have a sudden desire to punch him" category. Not that it looks particularly good, but it makes him look like slightly less of a pussy.

Alternately, I might want to go for the Tom Waits. Can't find a good picture of it, but I'm thinking particularly of his hair around the Bone Machine era. Not the haircut where it is like 6 or 7 inches long and standing almost straight.
