Truth.  I would encourage you to take 3/4 of an inch or so off the back, just to take it solidly out of mullet territory.  But I like the top and sides as they are.

keep the back a lot shorter than the front and sides. i have short hair and a seething hate for maintenance as well and that seems to work pretty well for me. it's also a hairstyle that can usually grow out for a good couple of months without looking too terrible.
