Lupercal:
So my hair is growing out and I've got a haircut booked - question is, I'm not sure weather to keep it in a longer style and possibly grow it out - the last few summers I've gone away so got it cut short - this summer I'm just in the country so no real need for short hair.

Also:

Do I look like Jack Black?

Its gotten to the point where strangers at work tell me I look like him.

Lupercal:
I really, really don't see it.

I mean people have been telling me pretty much since I was 15-16, so 4-5 years now. I guess its just gotten old, but I like to actually have hair. Plus, my stupid Dracula hairline makes it so that I have to have a fringe or I just have a lot of forehead on show.

But thanks, its not really a problem - I just want people to see me as me and not as that guy who looks like Jack Black. Apparently when my girlfriend went to a party last night and somebody asked after "her boyfriend, Jack". I'm Richard. D'oh.

I actually like JB, I just like to think I have a personality. I'm thinking I'll keep it relatively in this style but just so it can grow out a bit better.

If anybody else has the super-pointy-hairline problem, I'd love to hear what you do with your hair.

And yes, Lupercal, you do look like Jack Black, but that's not a bad thing.

Lupercal:
fuckin  :psyduck:

I guess its all part of a bigger picture. I don't CARE, I just care that strangers make an effort to tell me. If I totally overthink it, I kind of feel as though my identity is being shat on because people compare me to somebody else, and when I introduce myself people say "ah we should call you Dick!" to which I should respond "ah I should call you cunt!" but I'm never so rude.

Well, cheers for the observations  :-) could be worse, I could be a Kyle Gass lookalike. Think I'll just go with the inevitable and just keep a longer style.
