Spinless:
Take volume away from the back by trimming the length and adding layers. Products only seem to work if you want to increase volume, or make your hair look flat. Flat hair isn't a good look for anybody.

40 is fine if you can handle it comfortably.  I don't know how strong or in shape you are so I can't judge that.  I would strongly recommend NOT maxing out (or coming anywhere close to it) on your first day, though.  If you max out, you'll be too sore to do any pushups at all the next day, or the day after that, and it will be very easy for it to end up being a one-time thing that doesn't help you at all.  If you start well within your abilities, though, and increase very gradually, you'll be able to keep doing them every day until in the long run you can do far more than you ever thought.

I know this has nothing to do with hair, sorry. [/hijack]

Ballard:
Yeah dude, 40 push-ups is beast for someone who hasn't worked out in a long time/ever and 40 sit-ups will leave you so sore, you won't have the ability (or desire) to do any physical activity for the next few days.

Spinless:
I've been doing pull-ups this week, I'm confident that I can do two sets of 20 sit-ups/push-ups in a day.

Ballard:
Oh, in a day, sure. I thought you meant in a row.
