I found this that we can use until Gabbly comes back.

It's almost exactly like Gabbly, yet, with slightly more IRC thrown in.

Just go to this address:

http://www.everywherechat.com/chatnow.php

And then type in whatever name you want to go by, no password.

Then, in the chat box at the bottom of the page you get to, type:

/join #qc

Then once you are in there, you can register your name by double clicking on it.

Why Gabbly sucks:

-No support. No information/updates anywhere, their last blog post was from march. Their site consistently does have any information about problems.
-Bugs. All the time and everywhere. In nickname sign in, lag, connection problems, script, page loading.
-Sucks on certain browsers. Mostly firefox and safari - Was not supported in firefox at all in the earlier versions.
-No banning/moderation. Easily trolled by bots and spammers.
-Obnoxious advertising
-top 10

This is what you get from free browser-based services.
