Duke Nukem forever: New Trailer = end of the world?

I still own Manhattan Project. It was really good I thought, and I'd be happy to have more in the same vein, but it was really just a cock tease.

Although the original Duke Nukem games were pretty much awful, I still remember them fondly.
I anticipate the (hopefully soon) release of Forever.

This is one of those games you wanted so bad when it was in development ELEVEN years ago. You still want it now, but you've forgotten why.

Why are people talking like this trailer means the game will be released? Err. Released soon? They've been pulling this stuff for the last 10 years, if you haven't learned by now that a teaser doesn't mean the game is gold you really don't know Duke Nukem well.

I don't recall anyone actually saying the game has gone gold at all actually.
You do have to recall that this has been a couple of years where supposed vapor ware has started showing up in force. Prey, STALKER and TF2 are the ones I'm mainly thinking of.
Now the chances of the game actually being released are still slim, but the stars seem to be aligning in some way.
