I am currently drinking Corona. Anyone who feels the need to accuse me of girliness may suck my ovaries. It is yummy. On occasion I like a nice Guinness. I was introduced to it by my one and only flatmate between living at home and moving in with my partner - it was awesome, we had knew each other from kickboxing so would meet up there and go home for a nice Guinness as our reward then perhaps some single malt on the weekends. I was living well above my means but it was quite fantastic for a while
Steinlager Pure is also quite wonderful. Marketed for NZers but I suspect it's somewhat like MacDonalds making burgers for every country they are in... same shite, different marketing. Nonetheless it is FAR superior to normal Steinlager.
I also like Macs Gold but find it a bit thin at the moment, and Monteiths Summer Ale but am finding that too damn sweet just now. Anyone who lives in NZ? Lion Red is THE DEVIL. Anyone old enough to have drunk Steinlager Blue? Sounds... bad. I'll just leave it at that.
Anyway. Beer is tasty and delicious yet it is strange how on a given day I can like one but not another, and sometimes none at all. It's damn awful for getting trollied IMO as it is way too much liquid for the alcohol content. I always found copious amounts of spirits more pleasant for such fun times. But then that was before drinking a bottle and a bit of tequila and ruining the best spirit ever, then doing similar for vodka, then gin... I'm pretty much down to a nice nip of whiskey and even then my body protests.
And yes, I am drunk and narcissistic enough to peruse the forums posting willy nilly with minimal reading of previous posts. I'm sure I'll be embarassed in the morning :-P
