It's funny, I realized how out-of-step I've become when probably my favourite record this year only appeared on one year-end list, and even then only in second place.

I know a lot of people hate them, but if Gallows herald some kind of hardcore punk scene that takes over the charts I would feel warm and fuzzy inside. Of course, for anyone who hates it, they comfort themselves that aside from Gallows, they'll all split up by 2009 having released one 12" and an EP no one can find.
