i'm a classicaly trained celloist who switched to a bass

electric (i guess)

why? iono, everyone and his little brother was playin the guitar (not very well mind you) and switching from the cello
to the bass is relatively easier in tone just tuned differently (a cello is C-G-D-A while a bass is EADG)

dalconnsuch:

negative creep:
This will take you all of twenty seconds and I'd really appreciate it.

Are you a guitarist/bassist?

both

If yes, what type of guitar/bass?

electric

..Assuming you're not an unplugged acoustic player, did you buy your guitar and amp from the same store?

I basically bought everything on ebay, I don't know if that counts as the same store, as I bought everything from different people.

Bassist.

electric

Yeah.

If you answered yes, why?
We live in a small-ish town, so we could have either gone to the one music store we had, or bought a cheap amp/bass package from Wal-Mart. We opted for the music store.

Because I am a beginner, so I bought one of those Squier bass/amp starter packages
