Are you planning to surprise me with beer? That would be neat.

I believe it is more a matter of taking me out for pastries and coffee.  And eating steak.

ViolentDove:
I don't really listen to punk much anymore, but here is my advice anyway! Go to the next Punks' Picnic. These happen in City Park, down the end of King St., Newtown. I think quarterly (?) but my memory is a bit hazy. Usually a very DIY gig with many people drinking long-necks in the sun. Otherwise, try drinking in the Townie. Invariably, you will see everyone from every Sydney punk band ever at 2 am in the Townie.

Otherwise, you could maybe learn three chords on the guitar and form a shitty punk band. It's pretty easy. Then you will have friends interested in the same kind of music.

Man I thought I was the only one.

Right?

If you can talk through a band they are not Motorhead playing loud enough.
