Top 10 Albums of 2008

Sox:
This Make Believe album is fantastic. I can already tell that it's better than Of Course. Though I'm somewhat disappointed by the song titles...

Sox:
I'll bet it will be. Those guys are pretty much constantly playing around with music, and I do believe they've had enough time to come up with some better material, with other ideas being used in either last years JoA soundtrack, or various side projects.
Of course, this is assuming the album's line-up reunites the usual key players, and that Joan Of Arc isn't now considered the 'side project' for the people involved, which is the feeling I got from Eventually All At Once, Guitar Duets and the attachment of the name to the Orchard Vale soundtrack. E,AAO was nice enough, but I'm sure that this one is going to be much, much better.

StGabe:
Gonna go out on a limb and say that Bon Iver will be near the top of a few lists (although I supposed it's technically a 2007 release if you count a 500 CD independent issue).  You can listen to the whole album here if you don't know what I'm talking about and it releases on the 19th.   At the very least "Skinny Love" is unlikely to get pushed too far down my top 10 singles list.

wintersun, judas priest, metallica (maybe), circle takes the square, the thermals...that's all i can think of off the top of my head

Wikipedia says that Politics Don't Sell Records is coming out this year.  I can't find a source but it seems likely since The Thermals haven't announced any recent shows, but they've already named the album in interviews.  Sweet!

squawk:
I hope Miles Kurosky's solo thingy is out this year. Beulah = <3.
