really?  personally, i need to feel at least SOME kind of emotional connection to music to truly enjoy it, and several bands i otherwise liked have had the listening experience soured for me when i've found out they're monumental bastards.  this isn't to say that any artist who does the slightest thing that irks me will be cast out of my collection, it's got to be something pretty big or a constant display of asshole-ism.  and even then, i'll still listen now and again, but i just don't enjoy it as much.

Crystal Castles is not nearly as disturbing as seeing Does It Offend You, Yeah? on some of these lists.

So, what the fuck, the 1900s have a new album out now? And I had no idea about it until today when they just announced it. What the hell. Who puts out an album in late November.

Anyway I need to find this somehow

Regarding top of 2008 lists, I'm not sure if I can make one! I think I'll just give awards out to albums.
