So it seems whether I am going depend on A) whether I have enough cash for this after Coachella and B) whether I am in transit to Ireland or not.
If I do go, my birthday is the 20th, and I will be mighty disappointed if there is not cake. MIGHTY DISAPPOINTED.
Slick:
I'll have you know I'm a regular baking machine. I will provide some delicious cake for you.
What is your favorite kind? I will try and perfect it by the summer.

Australians don't carpool across oceans, Jimmy Slicko.
Okay here's the deal. I intend to go on a three-week holiday to the U.K. (to see family) and Finland (to see snow) some time in the next couple of months. It was going to be in March, but circumstances have meant that it will have to be in April now instead. Basically I (A) want a holiday, and (B) really really really need to get some decent cold weather into me because summer and shitty Melbourne winters are driving me insane. It's unfortunate that I won't be able to get up there until spring, but if I have to go all the way to the Arctic just to get some cold into me then, so help me, that's what I'm gonna do.
None of this has any bearing on any of you, except that any visit by me to Toronto will be dependent on me being able to save up enough money between April and June to buy a ticket and pay for accomodation. This shouldn't be an too problematic, however I cannot guarantee anything at this stage, and probably won't be able to do so for at least another couple of months. Going to Toronto instead of the U.K./Finland is not an option, because of the aforementioned strong desire for cold weather, and the loopy back-to-front seasons you have in the northern hemisphere that means June will be the middle of summer.
Even if it is just a Canadian summer.
So . . . mebbe, mebbe not? Don't anybody count me into your plans just yet.
