It's only an 8 hour drive, without rest stops. It would only be 17 hours on the bus due to all of the stops on the way to let people off. I've driven worse trips. 8 hours isn't so bad.

Up to Minnesota? Could you stop at Iowa? I rather like my home state, and with Minneapolis/St. Paul there are actually plenty of people living there. Also if you could keep North Dakota until I'm done with college, that would be nice.
