All the more reason to have her on our team. The others will see the four of us and weep. (Well, at least when they see Tania, Shane, and myself. Jon will make them cry because he's too pretty.)

I don't think we'd even have to have a frisbee to win.

When we all line up, out of the four of us, which person do you think the other team is the least concerned about? Especially if Tommy's telling the truth about Tania. (Meaning, who's the least threatening. Honestly.)

i can't deny that i've beaten up tommy on more than one occasion.
however, i can say with utmost honesty that never in my life have i ever injured anyone who didn't totally deserve it at the time. by which i mean you have to stop and ask yourself, "will this be hilarious? i mean, for everyone?"
they're kind of the same thing if you think about it.

We might as well not even play, and spend the time drinking instead.

The only way I could possibly afford to attend this (other than winning the lottery some time in the next couple months) would be to take Greyhound, and it's a three and a half day trip each way from Oregon to Toronto by bus.  As much as I've enjoyed this forum since I've found it, and as cool as the people involved in this trip seem online, there's no way I'm spending a week of my life on Greyhound buses, just so I can spend a few days in Toronto with a bunch of people I've never even met.

^^^^^
This was my thought process before I started reading about zombie wiffle ball and epic tackle ultimate frisbee games.  Now though, I'm starting to think that this trip genuinely does sound awesome enough to potentially make the trek worthwhile...

Hey, I'm only about 600 miles from the border.  At which point I would be in Vancouver.  The problem is those 2700 miles from Vancouver to Toronto...

Not as sad as me! I am about 90 miles away and I have never been!

Although I will later this year (sadly, not for Tronnocon).

Okay, I don't want to be left out on the street, so I'll post this one more time.

If you are coming and want to share a hotel room, let me know. If I don't have anything by Friday, I'll be going in a hostel.

I think rowdy is fine as long as you aren't too loud and are respectful and stop when asked to. A little "Sorry, we got a little carried away" goes a long way.

Fuck you guys. You want bizarre? Lest we forget I'm the dude who once dreamed he was taken over by an alien parasite that leapt from Lois Lane's vagoo during cunnulingus.

Also of note: it would seem that Johnny will be joining us for the weekend in the hostel, folks, because none of you twats are good enough to rent a room with him. He will be looking for extended lodgings, however, as he will be spending some extra time up there.

sorry, johnny c. you are a rad dude and i definitely would have roomed with you had i not already sorted out roommate plans that kind of involve a certain degree of privacy.
i'm sure there are people still looking for roommates. they are just too lazy to post in here or something. you guys suck.

also, this will proabbly be sort of a useless addition to this thread but i will just throw it out there anyway because you never know. i live in guelph which is about a 60-90 minute bus ride to toronto. a bus ticket to toronto and back costs about $20. i am NOT in any way offering my house up for lodgings... not because i'm selfish but because commuting from guelph to toronto and back every day is pretty much fucking ridiculous. even i am going in a hotel in toronto for the weekend. however, i will offer it for people who are arriving early/staying late and don't want to just sit in a hotel in toronto by themselves doing nothing. guelph is kind of dumb and boring, and i'm sort of obnoxious, but you'll save the cost of a hotel and pay only for the bus trip so it sort of balances out. unless you actually want to hang out in toronto and look at things. that's cool too.

I just want Matt and Kyle and Mai and anyone else who was relying on me to make the bookings at the hostel for the extra day we will be there that I have not yet. I have no money. I have a credit card, so I could feasibly do it, but I have to pay it off at the end of the month, and I do not have the means to make that up and tide me over until June.

I am good to pay back because of birthday moneys and probably jobs, so if someone else can afford this until then, you won't get shortchanged.

I actually only just got a job again, which means that since I live at home with my parents and thus have no other bills to pay, will be a large fund by the time I get to Toronto, but in general means that not only am I going, but I will actually be able to do stuff that requires money. I haven't quite decided how long I'm going to be staying yet though.

Kind of. The rooms are presently set as follows:

Room 1 is full up, consisting of Rachel and myself in one bed, with the other five beds being Shane, Switty Matt, Katie, Mai and Linds (Kyle has, allegedly, dropped out).

Room 2 has ONE spot potentially open, it is presently Steve (Ackblom) and his fiance for one bed, with the other beds occupied by Phil, Johnny C, my brother Chad (Trust me, he's fun and legal to drink) and now Darryl. Both Tyler and Oli have expressed interest, but neither has committed yet. Shane's calling Tyler tonight to figure out his current plan and I'll be PMing Oli to determine if he's made any progress towards finding out his availability.

To my knowledge, that covers pretty much everyone who's indicated they need somewhere to stay, so we will NOT be booking any further rooms.
