Did anyone else catch the premiere?

I thought it was excellently entertaining.  Definitely at about the level of acting and writing I expected it to be.

All it was missing was a governator cameo.

this is demonstrably false. All it appears to be missing is Linda Fucking Hamilton. Making a Terminator movie without her was bad enough, but how anybody could possibly conceive of green-lighting a whole T.V. show centred around a character without the actor who absolutely defined that character is beyond me. Imagine somebody making Alien: the Ellen Ripley Chronicles without Sigourney Weaver.

Though, Sigourney Weaver has aged quite nicely.

it was great.  it got me back into the whole terminator mythos for the first time since i was a little kid. i can't wait to watch the continuation tonight! :)

plus, summer glau = KICKASS!!!

When I saw her, I freaked out and was like, "Holy crap, she was in Angel and Firefly, but she's so much hotter now."

Maybe I have a thing for robots.
