I saw the video first, before hearing the whole yoda on the 360 Vader on PS3 thing. I was pumped about having the two square off.

I was going to get this game regardless, as I'm a huge Soul Caliber fan.

This is horrible! There's no way anyone could block a lightsaber (except with another lightsaber). For this reason alone, Yoda and Vader should be made to be completely overpowered. Force-choke and insti lightsaber kills.

Lightsabers don't go through everything. There's a bunch of stuff that can compete with them, if not on even ground.

Okay this is completely off topic but I have always wondered if the knife from the second book in the trilogy "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pullman could cut a lighsaber blade.

The knife can cut through the fabric of time/space/universes/particles/spirits but a light saber is still a light saber, it is made of particles and such but if it WAS cut would it stay the length it was cut to or would it extend back?

If the soul edges are as sharp as this they could cut it but they would need strength so as not just to go through them.

I'm guessing it would re-extend since it's just a beam with a magically-limited length.

The knife would cut into the beam but as soon as the edge was through and the knife was in the path of the beam, it would get melted into goop and the saber would pop right back out. Kinda cool for 2 seconds then you're defenceless and no better off. I guess.

Will one of Vader's throws be a force choke? I can see the force powers being implemented in interesting ways, especially if they hark back to why SC2 was so good, and why SC3 was a bit meh in comparison, because I want an awesome Soul Caliber for my 360.
