Please explain this idiosyncratic phrase to me
Valrus:
"Hey, [user name]."
It seems innocuous enough but clearly conceals a wealth of connotations, which seem mildly pejorative but otherwise completely elude me. Also I recently witnessed ruyi using it to address a thread, rather than a specific user, which just further confused me. So what's the deal?
jhocking:
It is when the poster suffers a stroke after writing the salutation of their message.
Inlander:
It's also the means by which tommy identifies his next victim.
ledhendrix:
--- Quote from: tommydski on 15 Jan 2008, 14:57 ---Hey Joe.
--- End quote ---
Hey Jude
ruyi:
--- Quote from: Inlander on 15 Jan 2008, 15:12 ---It's also the means by which tommy identifies his next victim.
--- End quote ---
are you sure? because i was under the impression that joseph hocking was an adult male.
