I think "Let's Go Crazy" would be more appropriate.

Some happy hardcore would be good times. Failing that, anything by The Angelic Process would deliver. We'll say "shielded by death/suspended in light", because when some one as great as me passes away, you know dudes are going to be really, really depressed.

If they played a great song at the funeral of your best friend, wouldn't that ruin the song forever?

I think it would really depend heavily on the circumstances of how they passed away. It might also, later on down the track, make the song remind you of a great friend you had, which I don't think would be ruining the song for you.

I think before they played "We're From Barcelona", "The Final Countdown" would have to be played.
