Agreed. I was driving home from OC the other day (I was pretty much forced into driving my little brother and his friends down for Senior Week. But I got 70$ out of it, so I'm not too mad about it), and at one point I couldn't see more than 50 feet in front of me (at 4 PM!) because of the rain and the mist from it evaporating off the road.

I was in a fucking tent for round one of those storms (tuesday). And my dad's goddamn van for rounds 2 and 3 (wednesday). It was simultaneously awesome and fucking terrifying.Damn you, Assateague State Park. Damn you and your terrible weather and freezing waters.
Although I think I saw a funnel cloud touch down out to sea, and we saw some pretty amazing lightning strikes nearby! I swear a few of 'em hit that main road through the park. SO LOUD.
