That is actually a different picture than the one that was on the Rage album cover. There was more than one Buddhist monk who immolated himself in protest to the Vietnam War. I like it though. It is a pretty powerful image if you ask me. I'm not sure I catch your meaning when you say "please steal something in egypt" though.

I don't much feel like looking it up. Maybe you are right. Regardless, I don't think it really matters. I enjoy Rage Against the Machine too, so no problem there. By the way, you still haven't clarified what you meant by please steal something in egypt.

That is Thich Quang Duc,the most famous of the self-immolating monks, but that is not the picture of him used on the RATM cover. The pic from tha album has all the fire blowing to the right (which I always thought wasa nice, subtle touch), with none to the left of Duc.
