If you look past the drug stuff, Pete Doherty is actually kind of a nice guy. He rescued a three-legged hedgehog and named it Mrs Tiggywinkle! As far as I am concerned, he can make as much terrible music and inject as much heroin into unconscious girls as he wants now.

I didn't say anything about religious reasons for going, just that going to another country to help people and then getting high don't make sense. I didn't say it as a "tsk tsk, for shame" it's just a "huh?" Maybe it's because I don't do drugs, but still.

I do know some people who went to Jamaica on missions trips, and they enjoyed it immensely, but they don't smoke pot, so I don't know how to go about doing that.

oh... right. I just assumed it was a religious thing, someone from my church just got back from Jamaica.
