--- Quote from: zerodrone on 05 Feb 2008, 21:32 ---I'm aware of them, but I don't think it's too much to ask newcomers to also be aware of the different ways they can be interpreted. This is the internet, anyone who can find the power button on their computer should by now know not to hastily rush to conclusions when somebody posts something that is not explicitly rude.

I will be honest, and say I didn't find anything particularly harsh or derogatory about his post. However, I think you're making a generalization here, Zerodrone. Some people just jump to conclusions by nature. We could ask them not to, but I don't think they're inherently going to know.
I'm not saying you're a bad guy at all, and frankly, I wouldn't have called you out for it on any given day.
Back on topic, I guess Stereolab are considered post-rock. You could check them out.

God damnit. I suck at this whole "posting" thing, lately. I seriously click "Modify" and it creates a new post. So, sorry about the double posts, guys.

I thought of a few more.

--- Quote from: Objects inside Clouds on 05 Feb 2008, 17:57 ---Okay I remembered another group: El Ten Eleven.
They are very good. They are not all like zomg we shall now tremolo pick you to death kthx. They are different.
--- End quote ---
Ooooh, I love El Ten Eleven. They are one of the things I miss most about living on the West Coast. Nothing beats a two-headed guitar, except maybe a guitar/keytar combination.
We are changing On Fire's name to Eksi Ekso, which is a bastardization of Greek words. The official change happens in March.
Thank you so much to whomever has listened to our tracks, and the compliments. Maybe we can make it to DC sometime in the not to distant future, it is not all that far from the North East.

You'd probably like Boris somewhat, they're similar to Kyuss, just less stonery (by this I mean they're faster).
