She speaks the truth.
The only shoes that look ridiculous at all times are those stupid furry boots that look like you gutted a persian and slipped it's skin around your foot. Seriously ladies, why do you buy those things?

Lightguy; I think originally it was because they were warm and no-one would see them 'coz you'd just wear them around the house. Then I'd imagine there were a few too many cases of people not having enough time to put proper shoes on or just going to get petrol and it's not really worth putting shoes on and then someone thought that these people were doing it by choice instead of because they were just popping out for five minutes.
Katie; I'll agree that you'll never pull off classicly beautiful with flats and skinny jeans but you can certainly do the cute-indie-chick look.

Ironically, just after I posted that, I came across an even uglier pair of shoes.
These almost make crocs look good.
