That's because people in Minnesota are generally used to the cold and don't feel the need to wear boots. And mostly we're not dumb enough to wear Uggs. I say mostly because I have seen it a few times.

Alex C:
My friend Mark once paired Uggs with fishnets, but that was on Halloween. Scariest costume I've ever seen. He's not a small man. Well, actually, he's kind of short, but he could definitely stand to lose some weight... Other than that though, I've only seen a handful of people wearing uggs.

Where are you at in Minnesota? If you don't mind me asking, that is.

I'm from Spam Town (Austin, MN), sadly. Just north of Iowa.

heels heels heels i love them and i can't wait to live in a place with no cobblestones so i can wear heels every day!
i also love skinny jeans.
i do not love flats but they are more practical than heels so i wear them anyways.

i was going to stop buying high heels but this thread makes me want to go buy a new pair RIGHT NOW. :(
