SXSW is probably the biggest music festival in the United States. It's less a festival than it is a huge glut of bands playing a ridiculous number of venues in Texas.

i'm just as surprised as you are, johnny. this is the type of thing that i would have at least heard of at some point but i guess i'm out of the loop, or something.
now i need to figure out how to get my ass to Texas.

I just saw Geronimo tonight.
People attending this event, I cannot stress enough how excellent Geronimo are. They are absolutely phenomenal. Consummate musicians in every sense.
