Surely it's easier to do a shitty cover of a good song, though? Or at least, it becomes more clear that that the shitness of it is down to you, and not the song.

We do versions of "All I Want Is You" by Barry Louis Polisar (the song in the intro credits on Juno), "Anyone Else but You" by The Moldy Peaches, and we absolutely massacre "Eight Days A Week" by the Beatles.
