--- Quote from: Sam on 25 Feb 2008, 07:40 ---dang there is this awesome taco place i went to that i can't remember the name of! it's near the historic residential district i think, southwest (maybe) of downtown? one of the homes in the neighborhood got a new coat of paint from an author that owned it (painted it purple, i believe) and there was an uproar.

Dunno, Sam, the only taco place i go to is a taco cart by my house or Taco Taco by my school, which is right next to the historical district, but on the north side of downtown.
And Misconception, good luck finding much to do within walking distance, San Antonio is the definition of urban sprawl.
RedLion:
I was just down in San Atonio a few weeks ago with my school's choir. Nothing too amazing really. It was nice to be in that kind of climate though--Wisconsin's at about 20 degrees now, and this is considered a heatwave after the last few weeks.
It's snowing again today.
Sonofabitch.

mooface:
i did indeed go to the red light district! but i did not take any pictures because it was really depressing.
but instead... here is me wearing a very pink hat and purple mittens!
i also danced with beyonce!
and, uh, here is a scenic picture i guess. whatever.
supersheep:
Also, if you take pictures in the red light district, the large imposing guys who make sure that everyone is playing nice will borrow your camera and ensure that it is waterproof.
