Spring Break! Hooray! (No Boobs)

Yeah, there are quite a few ski resorts there. Our uni organised a few trips this term so we're going on that one. I've never been before and I'm pretty scared (and excited!) anyone got any handy hints?

The proper way to get off a ski lift is to raise the tips of your skis as you get near the landing point, and when they hit the ground simply stand up and let the chair push you forward.

Thanks, I'll try to remember that, getting off ski lifts and avoiding trees. Check. I've been told that the key if you've never done it before is to look as though you've never done it before so that people will avoid you. So I'm planning on lots of padding, a helmet and a sign on my back that says 'Steer Clear!!'

Oh my God. I am going to die. I'm sure of it. Or at least break something major on the first day. Do you think I would get the rental money back if that happened? Meh. Maybe I should just stick to sledging.
