People in Real Life that look at like QC characters...
pwhodges:
I'm getting a bit fed up with seeing image quotes of that poster - that's the second on this page; and it falls completely flat on its face with Marten anyway.
MarkTBSc:
There's three people I work with who often share the sofa during our coffee break... All in a line it looks like Steve, Marten and Faye sitting together. They even enjoy the same music. I keep meaning to photograph them together, but it's kinda creepy to wip out the old camera and say "Hold still! I need a photo of you to post on the web because together you resemble fictional characters you've probably never heard of!"
We also have a Penny... Sans glasses... Who it seems does have an online picture: Here
DoubleAW:
Wow, she really does look a lot like Penelope.
MarkTBSc:
She and her husband are the sorts of people you'd hate the guts of if they weren't so nice. They're both good looking, internationally renowned neuroscientists. They're both musicians (in fact she's concert level with chello, piano and who knows how many others) and just...
People like that make me feel totally inferior... But they're really great people.
And the fact they don't know a Torx from a hex-drive is humanising.
taekwondogirl:
I guess if anything, I look like Ellen if she wore glasses.
I am similar to other characters in certain ways. I'm very short like Tai, I have red hair (not that kind of red though), I wear glasses and love books, and I like the ladies (not exclusively though so that's sort of a half point). To top it off, I go by Tae which would be pronounced the same way. It sort of weirded me out when I first saw her in the strip. My hair's too long and curly to be anyone even if it wasn't red, though that picture sort of hides it.
One of my previous boyfriends told me that I have an ass like Faye's, a waist like Raven's, and boobs like Dora's. And that my personality is probably closest to Raven's, but he meant that in a good way. I was sort of unhappy with the comparison.
