And I remember it and I wasn't even there. There were pictures and stuff and I remember a bright pink coat. I remember it because it's similar to a bright blue coat I have.

And seeing as how I "quit" smoking (haven't smoked in months due to being too lazy to buy them), sadly Eugene won't get a cigarette off of me, either.

I didn't forget anything, Tommy. But you're gone now and I've gotta hang with somebody (no offense non-Tommies)

Speaking of which, when are you visiting again?

Is it NYC you fear, or a certain inhabitant?

Go to the Apple store (on 56th street i think?) at 3 AM in the morning.

It will be packed.

I'm saying this because it's basically because that's what commercial NY is all about. The city that doesn't sleep, with nice packaging.

If it's spring go to Coney island. Just because its so kitch. Prospect Park is a lot nicer than Central Park (I'm biased, every morning they do a walk your dog in the park thing and let them socialize, it's really kind of funny).

In Manhattan it's all about the area between Union square and Washington square park, down from there, but I'm sure those areas have already been talked about.

I miss being in NYC.

Hey, Bal, when is your spring break? Is Friday the 28th a good day for you to hang out, even if you have school? (We can just hang out in the afternoon/evening if you do have class.)

This is exciting! 5 weeks until I get to go! Woo! (But this means only 4 weeks of classes left. Holy shit.)

My spring break is in late April, so I have school that day. I'm down for hanging out in the evening, though!

I'm a little jealous, I gotta say. I've got work this weekend, which I suppose will benefit in me going to Tronno, which will be 100 times better overall.

I've got 140 in my savings and this check is going to be about 300, which I'm going to put 200 of into savings. I need a little spending money after all, and 340 dollars with it barely being March, I think I'm doing well, considering I've already got flight costs covered.

Well, I'm jealous of you because I'm in New York (obviously), but I don't get to go to Toronto :(

So I just learned that Huda is in Baltimore this weekend. Anyone else want to hang out?

Boo! Why not?

So it looks like the Friday we're hanging out is just going to be us three. (Me, KT, and Bal.) Anything you two want to do particularly? There are two art shows going on that weekend that I can't remember off of the top of my head, but I have no idea what else is going on. Any suggestions?

I was going to suggest the Weiner Werkstatt jewelry exhibit at the Neue Gallery but unfortunately it doesn't open until March 27. Ra Ra Riot is doing a show at Bowery Ballroom on Friday that hasn't sold out -- I'd be going if I weren't in Toronto for my mum's b-day.  Last weekend I had the best time at Fat Cat, but that's only if you like ping pong, pool, chess, jazz and good beer :)

Right so I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon and I am going to the Met with friends from real life tomorrow morning, if anyone wants to hang out.

Ok guys, I'm leaving tomorrow night and arriving sometime Weds morning. If you guys want to meet for dinner or whatever Friday night, which I think was the day we settled on, let me know! :) I was thinking of following pilsner's advice and going to Big Wong King or Dinosaur BBQ.

NO! NO DINOSAUR BBQ!
It's too far away :(

But yes I am up for pretty much anything else!

Since you guys seem to be into BBQ, let me recommend Hill Country.  These guys have the best brisket in town, and it's more or less cafeteria style.  The only problem is that it's going to be packed on Friday night, like 1 hour plus waits between 7pm and 10pm w/o a reservation, so my advice is to make an rsvp, go early, go late.

Here's a thought: who is all planning on coming to dinner/whatever on Friday? Or has someone already figured this out and I'm just being dumb?

I think it's just me, you, and Eugene. I don't think we really figured this out...

If that's too far away, what's close to you that's good? (And not too expensive.)

Unfortunately, my being there is really shaky right now. Something came up and there's a good chance I won't be able to get out of it. I'll post back when I know more.

Also Dinosaur BBQ is a ways away and relatively expensive. Completely worth it though.
