Let's buy all music ever!
Joseph:
I would imagine loads and loads and loads of singles. I wouldn't be surprised at all if half to two-thirds of it were singles.
Faker:
Well the site itself says:
3 Million Records
300,000 Compact Discs
More Than 6 Million Song Titles
So assuming an average of 4 minutes per track that would bring you closer to the 45-50 year mark.
I'm guessing the 6 million song titles must be 6million "unique" titles, i.e. excluding cover versions or perhaps the same song appearing on a number of different albums, best of compliations, soundtracks etc..
Though I think we can all agree that is an imperial fuck-ton of music!
KharBevNor:
Also note that he admits there are some duplicates in there.

Is that kinda like "Beware the Ides of March?"
Doug S. Machina:
"Remember, Remember, the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot."
The Gunpowder Plot attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament (with barrels of gunpowder in the cellar.) Its failure is commemorated in the UK with bonfires and fireworks on Guy Fawkes Night, though these days the bonfires and fireworks are pretty much an end in themselves.
These people know far more about it.
