Definitely Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind for me.

I think a lot of people must find his movies intolerably slow, but I love his pacing. He makes room for a lot of characters.

And I really loved the whole thing of Princess Monoke! Same with Spirited Away.

Also, alot of the anime on adult swim were really good.

Not fuse though, their anime is shit.

Before G4 and TechTV were fused into one, the latter of the two had this show on called Anime Unleashed.  It played some pretty awesome stuff sometimes.  I watched this one series called Betterman on it.  It was really weird, but kind of cool.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Princess Mononoke, and yes, Spirited Away is absolutely wonderful.
