My brother-in-law is getting a this, and wherever he is getting it from has some deal where you send in a mail-in rebate and a this is only $10 extra. He is giving the latter to my dad for father's day.

I think I may have called you a fool for buying designer frames. Not the same shit at all. Designer frames are, have always been and will always be an enormous con. You are paying crazy money for something that looks EXACTLY the same as the house frames, is probably worse made, and the only real difference is the designer frames have a teeny weeny eensy little logo on them. My glasses have £40 frames. However, the lenses have more technology than the goddamn apollo mission.
